ABOUT AUBURN Auburn is a delightful historic village situated approximately 110 km north of Adelaide and 25 km south of Clare. It is known as 'The Gateway to Clare Valley' and indeed is the place where evidence of Clare Valley hospitality begins. The wine industry is Auburn's main source of employment whilst others either commute to regional employment, are self employed in cottage industries or are retired.
